Concussion Management

Comprehensive Assessment & Evidence-Based Rehabilitation:

At Evolve Integrated Health, our concussion rehab program is designed to provide a structured, individualized, and system-specific approach to recovery for both acute and persistent concussion symptoms. We utilize both diagnostic technology and a detailed bedside assessment to identify what specific systems and areas of the brain are primarily impacted, thereby allowing for more specific and targeted treatment interventions and more efficient recovery pathways both during and between sessions.

When booking an Initial Concussion Assessment, please schedule three appointments:
One initial Concussion Assessment & One Multi-Systems Assessment (ideally within the same week, with a rest day in between)

One 45-minute follow-up to review assessment findings and outline your proposed treatment plan.
Treatment may begin during this session if time allows.

Initial Concussion Assessment (60 Mins)- Subjective History, Education, Diagnostics.
Multi-Systems Assessment (90 Mins) - Multi-System Bedside Assessment
Follow-up Appointment (45 mins) - Results & Treatment Planning

This three-step process allows for a thorough assessment of all key systems — vestibular, ocular, cervical, autonomic, affective/ mood, and cognitive — and ensures enough time for adequate recovery between sessions and discussion of results & treatment planning.

Treatment plans are typically 2 sessions per week for 6–8 weeks, with progress re-evaluations and individualized adjustments as needed.
Pre-booking your sessions helps maintain consistency, accountability, and steady progress toward recovery. It also ensures you get times that work best for you.

*Please note: Specific tests undertaken will be case-specific and at the discretion of the provider. Once your Concussion Assessment has been booked either online or via telephone, your provider may be subject to change based on what is most appropriate for your specific case. The clinic may contact you for some additional details if required for triage purposes.

Originally from Ireland, Daragh’s interest in movement and exercise began with sports at a young age, namely Gaelic football, hurling and squash. Upon completing his undergrad, decided to pursue a career in nutrition instead of his dream of becoming a physio, due to his challenge with stuttering. After a few difficult years working in the food manufacturing industry in Ireland and not feeling fulfilled he left for Glasgow, Scotland in July 2019, to work on his speech and pursue Physiotherapy.

Daragh graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) with a BSc in Health and Performance Science in 2013 and completed his MSc in Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Reading in the UK in 2015. He then completed his MSc in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University (QMU) in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2021.
